About the role#
We are looking for college students, specifically rising Juniors and Seniors, for a Summer 2027 internship in Providence. This role is hands-on and works directly with project teams. It serves as an introduction to the industry and provides advance consideration for our CMST program after you graduate.
What you'll do#
- Identify potential jobsite hazards and review ways to minimize risk with the safety manager.
- Conduct regular safety audits alongside Field Operations and the safety team.
- Speak directly with subcontractors regarding safety concerns.
- Build relationships with project team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Help the safety manager lead new hire safety orientations for incoming operations staff.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in civil engineering, construction management, or occupational health and safety.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- High attention to detail.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in construction is preferred.

- Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour.
