About the role#
The Advisory Purple Project Coordinator Co-op role supports the advisory consulting services team specializing in Purple Teams. You will work with various tool sets and gain insight into how organizations manage information security across different industries. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Manage and update documentation, templates, and project repositories.
- Coordinate internal Purple Team meetings and capture meeting minutes.
- Initiate project kick-off tasks using the Monday Project Management platform.
- Communicate project updates to internal stakeholders.
- Manage project materials, tracking mechanisms, and program calendars.
- Assist in publishing weekly and monthly project status updates.
- Support basic lab infrastructure tasks, such as provisioning virtual machines and maintaining asset inventories.
- Assist with the setup, provisioning, and administration of user accounts and access for lab and cloud environments.
- Document infrastructure setup, configuration, and teardown procedures.
- Escalate technical issues or access requests to senior team members.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current pursuit or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of IT fundamentals, including networking, operating systems, or cloud concepts.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a record of punctuality.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, as well as basic user administration.
- Exposure to IT infrastructure or virtualization.
- Experience with Office 365 or the Monday Project Management platform is preferred.
- Previous experience managing projects or leading teams is a plus.
- Residence in the Eastern time zone is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania or Rochester, New York.
- You are expected to work in the office Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
- This is a full-time, paid co-op position with a rolling term.
