About the role#
This 12-month internship within the Global Banking and Markets (GBM) division focuses on the execution of business strategies through reporting and analytics. You will work within the Chief Operating Officer’s office to support business partners and provide insights that drive client strategy.
What you'll do#
- Assist teams with report engineering, data analytics, and data engineering.
- Manage business relationships and work directly with relationship managers across Corporate and Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Global Business Payments, and International Corporate and Commercial Banking.
- Analyze internal and external client data to identify new business opportunities.
- Support the adoption, change management, and enhancement of the CRM system.
- Attend program meetings and assist with organization and follow-up tasks.
- Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, with a preference for Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.
- Advanced experience using Excel.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and C++.
- Knowledge of or interest in capital markets and wholesale banking.
- Experience working on a team-based project or initiative.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a matrix-based environment.
- Initiative, curiosity, and attention to detail.

- Term: September 2027 to August 2028.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
