About the role#
The ASPIRE Commercial Banking program offers an opportunity to gain experience within the Global Transaction Banking team. You will work on strategic initiatives, business planning, performance reporting, and process improvements. This role involves collaborating with partners across Commercial Banking to help drive business priorities and client solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives through research, analysis, and project coordination.
- Analyze business performance, metrics, and trends to identify opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Prepare business planning activities, reports, and presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Review existing processes and operating models to contribute ideas for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with the implementation and communication of strategic projects and business priorities.
- Collaborate with partners across Global Transaction Banking and Commercial Banking.
- Ensure the Bank's risk appetite and culture are considered in daily activities and decisions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Management, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good presentation skills and a consistent display of professionalism.
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about Commercial Banking.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
