About the role#
The ASPIRE Commercial Banking program offers students exposure to the Global Transaction Banking team. You will work with professionals to help commercial and corporate clients manage cash flow, liquidity, and day-to-day business operations. This role provides hands-on experience in supporting sales activities and developing client insights.
What you'll do#
- Support sales activities by gathering client and market insights and conducting research.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships.
- Assist with pipeline management, portfolio reviews, and sales reporting.
- Create presentations, sales materials, and client-facing resources.
- Analyze client activity, portfolio trends, and performance metrics to provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with partners across Commercial Banking and Global Transaction Banking.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and champion a client-focused culture.
- Consider the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture in daily activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or related degree program.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good presentation skills and a professional demeanor.
- Natural curiosity and an eagerness to learn about Commercial Banking.
