About the role#
The ASPIRE Commercial Banking program offers students exposure to the Agriculture Banking sector. You will work with a team that supports Canadian farms, producers, and agribusinesses. This role focuses on building your financial analysis skills and understanding the operations of clients in the agricultural industry.
What you'll do#
- Support relationship teams with client research, financial analysis, and credit-related tasks.
- Learn about agricultural operations, industry trends, and the factors that influence client financial performance.
- Conduct company and industry analysis to support credit and business decisions.
- Help assess financing needs, risk considerations, and opportunities for clients.
- Build relationships and collaborate with partners across Agriculture Banking and the broader Bank.
- Strengthen your analytical, communication, and professional judgment.
- Champion a client-focused culture while considering the Bank's risk appetite.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good presentation skills and a consistent display of professionalism.
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about Commercial Banking.
