About the role#
Scot Forge is hiring two Technical Sales Interns for the summer of 2027. This role is based at our corporate facility in Spring Grove, Illinois. You will gain exposure to the sales profession by supporting our technical sales team with daily tasks and projects. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Research, analyze, and document competitor capabilities and market positions.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate customer feedback and data.
- Investigate current or potential market opportunities.
- Partner with industry specialists for organizational mapping and business development.
- Shadow technical sales professionals during customer calls, onsite tours, and offsite visits.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior or higher pursuing a bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Engineering.
- You possess strong self-management and problem-solving skills.
- You have an outgoing personality and a logic-based thought process.
- You can write and communicate clearly.
- You work well with others across different departments.
- You are authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- You must be able to pass a 90-day head hair drug test.
