About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and engineering principles. You will work in both office and manufacturing settings at our Spring Grove facility. The role involves occasional travel to our locations in Franklin Park, Illinois, and Clinton, Wisconsin. You will participate in the internship program during the Summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Review and align procedures and training documentation.
- Update procedures by gathering tribal knowledge from the team.
- Track and report on daily non-conformances.
- Follow up on outstanding non-conformances.
- Collect data and apply standard statistics to verify the capability of high-volume shop orders.
- Create a guide for standard gauging purchases for machine assets.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Must be a rising junior or higher at the start of the internship.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing procedures.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to pass a hair drug test.
