About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to build clinical skills under the supervision of a licensed psychotherapist. You will work with children, youth, and adults within our Residential and Youth Justice Services portfolio. Please note that interns do not replace staff or provide coverage for minimum staffing requirements.
What you'll do#
- Build therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Run 1:1 therapy sessions.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions.
- Manage all required documentation in the EHR system.
- Attend clinical meetings as appropriate.
- Work with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support client care.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Psychology program.
- Ability to meet and follow all requirements listed in the Volunteer/Intern Handbook.

- Location: Briarwood, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- This is an unpaid, part-time position with rolling start dates.
