About the role#
The Learn to Work (LTW) internship program at Bronx Arena High School helps students build professional skills and explore career paths within a safe learning environment. The program assesses individual student interests and skills to identify potential work areas and connects participants with local businesses to create job opportunities.
What you'll do#
Participants engage in comprehensive job-readiness workshops. Topics covered include:
- Appropriate work behavior
- Interviewing skills
- Money management
- Resume creation
What you'll need#
- Must be between 15 and 21 years of age.
- Must be a student attending an eligible high school.
- Must be able to work no more than 15 hours per week.
