About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join the Fundamental Equity COO team. You will work closely with the team to run executive routines and support business-side program management. This role involves managing operational, technology, and strategic initiatives while building documentation to keep cross-functional commitments on track. You will face a variety of business problems that require careful analysis and creative thinking.
What you'll do#
- Research and map the onboarding and offboarding journey for Portfolio Managers and Analysts to identify gaps and propose solutions.
- Maintain vendor and budget data by building a clear, repeatable categorization and reconciliation process.
- Create or improve educational and presentation materials for investment teams.
- Design a tracking template to handle incoming market and product questions.
- Document existing processes and surface ideas to improve efficiency, data quality, and transparency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interviewing stakeholders across different levels of seniority.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Claude, and Confluence.
- A genuine curiosity about how a hedge fund platform operates and an interest in operational efficiency.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
