About the role#
Schonfeld is offering a ten-week summer internship within the Core Operations team. You will work directly with senior management and collaborate across various departments to support the trade life cycle. This role focuses on ensuring that investment strategies are executed through accurate processing and reconciliation.
What you'll do#
- Implement reconciliation processes for cash, positions, and trades.
- Reconcile daily and monthly financial data against fund admin and accounting books of record.
- Ensure trade flow is processed accurately across all internal systems.
- Gather data and assist with ad hoc projects and firmwide initiatives.
- Gain practical knowledge of the full trade life cycle from capture to settlement.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Familiarity with VBA and SQL querying logic.
- A natural curiosity for how systems interact and function.

- Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 annually, prorated based on the internship duration
