About the role#
We are hiring a Student Produce Clerk to join our team in Prince Albert. This is a part-time position with a rolling term. You will report to the Produce Team Leader and help maintain a clean, organized department that serves our members and guests.
What you'll do#
- Stock and display products to create a well-organized and visually appealing presentation.
- Monitor product quality and code dates, ensuring we follow first in, first out (FIFO) practices.
- Prepare ready-to-eat produce items and keep accurate production records.
- Receive freight and unload products, ensuring everything is stored correctly.
- Follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations to maintain a secure environment.
What you'll need#
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including regular lifting of 25-50lbs, walking, and standing for your entire shift.
- Familiarity with Food Safe procedures.
- A service-oriented mindset and the ability to work in a guest-facing environment.
- Availability for a flexible schedule that includes after school, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Enrollment in or interest in Business Administration is a plus.
