About the role#
As a Process Engineer Intern, you will join the Energy & Industrial Group in Englewood, Colorado. You will work alongside senior engineers to support the Oil & Gas team on projects ranging from upstream production and gas transmission to renewable energy and carbon capture. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior engineers with project execution, including the preparation of calculations, specifications, and designs.
- Support project reporting by tracking activities, evaluating progress, and managing project data.
- Contribute to system designs and the preparation of specifications for industrial energy equipment procurement and installation.
- Use automation and AI tools to solve engineering problems, improve workflows, and draft technical documentation.
- Apply programming or scripting skills to automate calculations, design checks, and data transformation.
What you'll need#
- Expected graduation in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028 with a Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as a proactive self-starter.
- Skill in identifying and prioritizing issues to meet project deadlines.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
