About the role#
The SAP Internship Experience Program is a paid, project-driven internship. You will join the SAP Data & Analytics organization to help build analytical and operational queries from data within SAP business line applications. This role is based in Montreal and requires a commitment of 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Prototype and implement AI components such as LLM-based pipelines, RAGs, and agent integrations.
- Build backend services and APIs to expose AI capabilities.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD and MLOps pipelines to move prototypes to production.
- Design, run, and analyze automated tests to evaluate model quality, latency, and cost.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain recovery indices, embedding pipelines, and feature stores.
- Participate in design work, sprint reviews, and cross-functional demonstrations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's program for Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience or coursework in ML and Deep Learning fundamentals.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and backend frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
- Experience with Git and GitHub workflows.
- Proficiency in English and French (at least B2 level in both).
