About the role#
This co-op position is within the Cell Culture Platform team in Framingham, Massachusetts. You will work on developing platform cell culture media and upstream process technologies. The role involves identifying process challenges and designing proof of concept studies to resolve them. You will work alongside teams in cell line development and downstream groups.
What you'll do#
- Design, plan, and conduct cell culture experiments at various scales, including shake flasks, ambr15, ambr250, and bench-top bioreactors.
- Participate in fed-batch, perfusion, media, and high-throughput automation development.
- Write protocols and technical reports.
- Present your findings to functional teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, biomedical sciences, or a related field.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic or sterile techniques.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis for data processing.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.

- Location: Framingham, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site.
- This is a paid position.
