About the role#
This internship is part of the 2027 Future Talent Program. You will support internal communications for major transformation initiatives, including projects focused on AI-enabled capabilities. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders and a fellow intern to contribute to enterprise-wide efforts. This role offers the chance to learn from leaders across various areas of scope.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Human Health Communications team to deliver our U.S. customer engagement transformation strategy.
- Use generative AI tools to support research, content development, and efficient workflows.
- Plan and execute employee engagement events, including agenda development, briefing materials, and video production support.
- Draft and source stories for Human Health newsletters and quarterly messages.
- Partner with subject matter experts in change management, program management, and strategy realization.
- Research change communications practices and AI adoption to inform our approach.
- Measure communications effectiveness by tracking data and synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations.
- Support the Global Diversity & Inclusion Experience Month through content creation and event promotion.
- Maintain SharePoint sites to ensure employees have access to accurate information.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your junior year or above pursuing a degree in Business Administration, English, Marketing, or Communications.
- Available to work full-time from May 2027 through August 2027.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and an interest in their application to communications.
- Coursework or interest in organizational change, business transformation, public health, life sciences, or healthcare communications.
- Ability to translate complex, technical information into clear, plain-language messages.
- Experience working in team environments and collaborating with diverse groups.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
Location & details#
- Location: Rahway, New Jersey.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (expected in-office 3 days per week).
- Term: Summer 2027 (up to 12 weeks).
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
- Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
