About the role#
The non-clinical bioanalysis team within the Translational Medicine Unit at Sanofi is seeking a co-op for Winter 2027. This role focuses on developing bioanalytical assays to understand pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics to support discovery and preclinical studies. You will work alongside experienced teams to develop LC-MS-based methods and contribute to scientific discussions regarding drug development.
What you'll do#
- Design and qualify PK LC-MS assays for biologics and antibody oligonucleotide conjugates.
- Develop sample preparation methods including protein precipitation, solid phase extraction, immunoprecipitation, and enzymatic digestions.
- Utilize LC-MS/MS and LC-HRMS for intact protein, middle-up, and bottom-up analysis.
- Characterize the pharmacokinetic profile of constructs, including integrity analysis.
- Analyze samples to support pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies.
- Report and discuss bioanalytical and biomarker results.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a PhD in biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related health sciences with a graduation date no later than December 2028.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
- Expertise in high-resolution mass spectrometry or triple quadrupole mass spectrometry.
- Proficiency with Thermo, Waters, or Sciex platforms for protein analysis.
- Experience with protein quantitation extraction techniques in biological matrices.
- Knowledge of proteomics tools, such as protein database queries and sequence analysis.
- Understanding of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics concepts.
- Preferred: Experience with AI tools for drug discovery, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities.

- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $57 per hour.
- Duration: 6 months.
