About the role#
As an Undergraduate Intern at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will support clients as they work toward mental health stability and independence. You will provide skills-based interventions in home and community settings while receiving mentorship from licensed clinical professionals.
What you'll do#
- Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with your team to design effective treatment plans.
- Document sessions accurately in electronic health records.
- Attend staff and team meetings to contribute to client care.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions with your internship supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, or Public Health.
- You must receive internship credit or be completing a formal practicum.
- Completion of at least 30 semester credit hours or 40 quarter credit hours.
- A commitment to a minimum of 6 months for the internship.
- Access to a personal vehicle for use during the internship.
