This internship provides an opportunity to support electrical engineering projects within the marine industry. Working under the supervision of senior engineers, you will contribute to routine assignments that apply standard design techniques and procedures. This is a full-time, on-site position for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical support.
- Assist in the development of DC and AC electrical load analysis, one-line diagrams, voltage drop calculations, and cable selection.
- Support the arrangement of electrical equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety, environmental, quality assurance, and security programs.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least four years of undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A basic understanding of electrical systems for marine vessels and floating structures.
- Working knowledge of computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
