About the role#
This R&D Co-Op position offers hands-on experience in coatings chemistry. You will work within a team-based environment on projects ranging from metal and concrete coatings to decorative and high-performance systems. The role focuses on professional growth as you train across different product platforms and take on increasingly complex assignments.
What you'll do#
- Create sample batches of paint for formula development.
- Conduct performance testing on lab samples and competitive products.
- Document data and interpret results.
- Assist with production support during the scale-up process and batch adjustments.
- Interact with chemical suppliers, marketing brand managers, and manufacturing operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student.
- Pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable scientific field.
Location & details#
- Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Pay: $25.00 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
