About the role#
This full-time Engineering Co-Op position runs from January 2027 through August 2027. You will work on-site in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This role is designed to help you determine if you want to pursue a career as an Operations Engineer by giving you real projects that impact company results.
What you'll do#
- Integrate new machines into the production process and work to maximize efficiency.
- Complete training on Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing, including 5S, 8 Wastes, SMED, and Root Cause Problem Solving.
- Manage projects within processing, milling, and paint making operations to improve throughput, safety, and efficiency.
- Support packaging production through Lean and Six Sigma activities or specific safety and efficiency initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree program.
Location & details#
- Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
- Pay: $25.00 per hour
