About the role#
The Technology Support Intern joins the Technology Services Help Desk team to provide administrative and technical support to firm users. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship running from August 17, 2026, through December 24, 2026. Interns will gain hands-on experience with basic technology support while learning advanced skills in a professional office environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Help Desk team in delivering technology support to firm users.
- Image and install operating systems and software applications according to firm standards.
- Perform inventory counts of hardware and software.
- Unpack technical equipment and validate components.
- Tag electronic equipment with asset identification tags.
- Deploy and connect equipment for team members.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an undergraduate program with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Cybersecurity.
- Junior or senior standing preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office.
- Strong technical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, and confidentiality.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 30 to 50 pounds.
Location & details#
- Location: St. Louis, Missouri.
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Schedule: Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the possibility of extra hours based on workload.
