About the role#
As a Financial Services Risk Consulting Intern, you will work on projects for large financial services institutions. You will gain hands-on experience by working on team engagements and interacting with business owners and executive management. This internship takes place during the summer of 2027 and is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Execute projects focused on Compliance, Risk and Controls, and Financial Crime.
- Perform Consumer Compliance testing activities for various financial institutions.
- Identify areas of non-compliance with financial laws and regulations.
- Develop technical skills across regulatory, compliance, and financial crime topics.
- Provide actionable recommendations and contribute to client relationships through support and expertise.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 90 credit hours toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or Statistics.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally up to 40% of the time, including overnight travel.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
