About the role#
Plante Moran is looking for an intern to join the marketing department on the pursuit strategy team. This team collaborates with firm partners and subject matter experts to match clients with professional services for audit, tax, and consulting. You will gain experience in sales enablement, the pursuit process, marketing technology, and persuasive content development.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development and delivery of sales proposals and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
- Help prepare materials for pursuit meetings and presentations.
- Review, edit, and proofread draft proposals to ensure accuracy.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective time management.
- Learn QorusDocs proposal automation technology.
- Analyze marketing and sales data in CRM and other martech tools to support win strategies.
- Practice using Microsoft CoPilot in daily tasks.
- Understand the pursuit pipeline, from intake through win or loss stages.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team atmosphere.
What you'll need#
- Completion of three years of study toward a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Competency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to coordinate projects and manage information flow between multiple sources.
- Interest in working with others to win new business opportunities.
