About the role#

This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in healthcare reimbursement within an accounting firm. You will be treated as an entry-level staff member, contributing to projects that assure the financial health of various organizations. The role involves a mix of analytical work and client interaction in a professional setting.

What you'll do#

• Analyze and compile client financial information for Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting.
• Interface with clients regarding reporting information to help optimize their revenues.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Research market and industry trends and prepare reports on your findings.
• Engage with staff at all levels and interact with a diverse repertoire of clients.

What you'll need#

• A bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting or a related field, or a master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented leadership qualities.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
