About the role#
As an intern in our Business Intelligence Consulting practice, you will gain hands-on experience working with businesses across diverse industries. You will serve in a client-facing role, providing operational support to both our clients and the internal engagement teams. We look for individuals who are creative problem solvers, fast learners, and detail-oriented.
What you'll do#
- Execute solution delivery engagements.
- Define, refine, and document client requirements.
- Build reports, dashboards, and scorecards using various tools.
- Provide ongoing support to existing clients.
- Develop demonstration scenarios and prototypes.
- Collaborate with consultants across different regions and practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, or Management Information Systems.
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Database Engine, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server Integration Services.
- Experience using T-SQL scripts for data manipulation.
- Knowledge of data modeling and manipulation.
- Experience developing basic web or desktop applications using the ASP.NET framework.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools.
- Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external resources at all levels.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- Locations: Des Moines, Iowa; Denver, Colorado; Chicago, Illinois; Irvine, California; Dallas, Texas.
- This role is on-site and requires the ability to travel up to 25% to client locations.
- You must have access to reliable transportation.
