About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Denver. You will join our Federal Tax Services team to gain hands-on experience across a variety of tax disciplines. This role requires you to work on-site and travel to client locations as needed.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on tax specialty areas, including corporate taxation, individual taxation, and pass-through entity taxation.
- Assist with accounting for income taxes, accounting methods, and periods.
- Support federal credits and incentives, mergers and acquisitions, private client services, and work for not-for-profit organizations.
- Conduct tax research and assist with tax planning.
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Build your understanding of tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- You have strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel.
- You communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- You can work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks.
- You have access to reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
