About the role#
StageRight Corporation is hiring an Accounting Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, on-site role provides hands-on experience within our finance and accounting department. You will work alongside senior accountants to learn about financial operations in a manufacturing setting.
What you'll do#
- Support daily finance and accounting tasks.
- Handle data entry and assist with financial reporting.
- Perform reconciliation processes.
- Help maintain accurate financial records.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A proactive approach to learning and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous internship or coursework related to accounting in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management principles.
- Experience with ERP systems or software such as SAP or QuickBooks.
- Ability to analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies.
