About the role#
As a Brokerage Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple operational domains at Robinhood. You will support the processes that power our trading, clearing, and customer experience. This role focuses on how data, technology, and risk management intersect in a fintech environment. You will work on projects that use analytics and process improvement to increase performance, accuracy, and customer trust.
What you'll do#
- Work across Robinhood Financial and Robinhood Securities to learn the operations of FINRA-registered broker-dealers.
- Partner with subject matter experts to analyze operational data, identify efficiency opportunities, and make process improvement recommendations.
- Support small-scale technical projects, including reconciling datasets, improving data quality, or building Business Intelligence dashboards.
- Deliver a capstone project that applies analytical and problem-solving skills to a real operational challenge, culminating in a presentation to senior leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time, degree-seeking Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Analytical mindset with experience performing analytics using SQL or Python.
- Curiosity about the intersection of brokerage operations, risk management, and market infrastructure.
- Clear communication skills and comfort engaging with cross-functional teams.
- Intellectual agility, including the ability to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and think critically about processes.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week).
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
