About the role#
The Crypto Accounting team supports the integrity of our financial records as we grow. As an intern, you will maintain digital asset records, ensure regulatory compliance, and build processes for our product expansion. You will gain hands-on experience in a financial technology environment while assisting with monthly close cycles and financial reporting.
What you'll do#
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support financial statement analysis and reporting.
- Apply U.S. GAAP principles to real-world accounting scenarios.
- Collaborate with teams to gather information and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Foundational understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
- Interest in how digital assets impact financial reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time internship.
