About the role#
We are looking for Android Engineering Interns to join our team for Summer 2027. You will work on real features, help shape our mobile experience, and contribute to products used by millions. You will be embedded in a team and work alongside experienced engineers to ship software.
What you'll do#
- Partner with a dedicated mentor who will guide you from onboarding through shipping.
- Collaborate with our design team throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Contribute to new features and help build products that change how people view finance.
- Explore and build innovative Android UI/UX.
- Work with technologies including Kotlin, RxJava 2, Retrofit/OkHttp, Dagger 2, and Room.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Expected graduation date of Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
- A solid foundation in software engineering.
- Interest in front-end work, specifically visually driven product design and user experience.
- Familiarity with Android components and experience building or contributing to at least one Android app.
- Experience building, maintaining, or contributing to open-source projects.
- Familiarity with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Dagger 2, and related libraries.
- A self-starter mentality and a proactive approach.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY.
- Work modality is hybrid, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
