About the role#
This position is based at the Richardson Kelburn Farm, a 700-acre Crop Development Center. The farm focuses on practical research and demonstration projects involving emerging agricultural technology. Key areas of study include agronomy, disease management, fertility, soil and water management, crop protection, and seed varieties.
What you'll do#
- Manage field operations including seeding, spraying, and harvesting.
- Collect data and maintain accurate records.
- Perform equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate and conduct farm tours.
- Handle general farm duties and public relations tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are ambitious, organized, and detail oriented.
- You have the ability to operate field equipment.
- You possess strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- An agriculture background is preferred.
- Students or graduates of an Agriculture Degree or Diploma program are considered an asset.

- Location: Howden, Manitoba.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- This is a part-time, on-site, paid position.
