About the role#
Repsol is looking for a Construction Management Intern to support the execution of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects. This twelve-week program provides hands-on experience working alongside project managers, contractors, and field personnel. You will be assigned to active project sites and must be prepared for extensive travel and extended stays at these locations.
What you'll do#
- Support daily field construction activities and monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets.
- Inspect sites to verify that construction matches plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Track project milestones, material deliveries, and punch list items.
- Attend project meetings and prepare notes and action logs.
- Coordinate communication between construction, engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
- Review project drawings, reports, and schedules.
- Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Participate in safety observations and support site safety programs.
- Analyze construction data to prepare status reports.
- Assist with project closeout activities and turnover documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor or Master degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
- Strong interest in utility-scale renewable energy construction.
- Ability to work in an active construction environment and follow all safety requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to integrity, safety, and quality.
- Willingness to relocate temporarily and remain at assigned project sites for extended periods.
