About the role#
The Emerging Talent Program Corporate Banking Group internship is a 10-week summer experience. You will work with the Public Debt and Equity Capital Markets team in Charlotte. This role provides exposure to investment grade and high yield public debt offerings, as well as public equity transactions. You will support bankers with deal processing, credit approvals, and database management while working on internal projects.
What you'll do#
- Research market data and conduct in-depth industry and company analysis.
- Perform fundamental credit analysis, including financial statement reviews.
- Create client pitch materials, deal screening memos, and underwriting approval documents.
- Assist senior Relationship Managers with call planning and pipeline management.
- Manage databases and contribute to deal processing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
