About the role#
This Investment Analyst Cohort position is part of a three-year training program at Parametric, a division of Morgan Stanley Investment Management. The program begins with a year of classroom training, interactive instruction, and peer learning. You will develop foundational investment skills and gain a deep understanding of Parametric's investment philosophy. This role is a full-time, paid opportunity for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Generate data sets and materials to support the management of investment strategies.
- Assist in creating responses for clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
- Use proprietary software to build hypothetical equity index portfolios.
- Develop specialized knowledge of all Parametric products.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy, professionalism, and responsiveness in all tasks.
What you'll need#
- A completed Bachelors degree.
- Majors in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong analytical writing and research capabilities.
- Ability to solve problems using logic, creativity, and enthusiasm.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a sense of urgency when managing deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Seattle, Washington.
- Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $33.66 per hour, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
- Term: Summer 2027 start.
