About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the trust and wealth management division at Morton Community Bank. You will work on real tasks in our trust operations area, gaining experience with investment accounts, trust accounts, and estate settlement services. The program is designed for students interested in a career in financial services within Central Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine and daily trust operation tasks.
- Analyze customer information and client statements.
- Present findings and projects to MCB Trust leadership.
- Attend Trust Committee and other staff meetings to observe department operations.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your sophomore or junior year of college.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence in a professional office setting.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship at $20.00 per hour.
