About the role#
We are seeking a Real Estate Intern to join our Bethesda, Maryland office for the summer of 2027. This 8-week internship provides hands-on experience across leasing, property operations, construction, and investments. You will shadow experienced professionals, perform daily tasks, and complete a final project to present to office leadership.
What you'll do#
- Leasing: Identify prospective tenants, assist with deal underwriting, conduct market studies, and manage contact databases.
- Property Operations: Work with tenants and vendors while shadowing Property Managers during site visits and inspections.
- Investments: Evaluate potential acquisitions and development opportunities through due diligence and demographic research.
- Construction: Research exterior building materials and assist the construction team with monitoring development progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior at an accredited 4-year university, with a preference for rising seniors.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Enrollment in a relevant degree program such as Real Estate, Business Administration, or Finance, with completed coursework in these fields.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with AI tools.
- Ability to learn new software quickly and work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
