About the role#
Regency Centers is seeking a Tax Intern for our corporate office in Jacksonville, Florida. This summer 2027 program offers exposure to REIT, partnership, and corporate taxation within the real estate industry. You will work 40 hours per week for approximately 9 weeks. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time roles upon completion of the program.
What you'll do#
- Calculate taxable income for entities.
- Analyze book and tax differences.
- Monitor REIT compliance.
- Perform fixed asset reconciliations.
- Gain experience with JD Edwards general ledger systems and reporting tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior at an accredited 4-year college or university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of at least one intermediate Accounting course.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work effectively in a team.
- Rising seniors graduating in 2028 are strongly preferred.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position in Jacksonville, FL.
- You must be able to work a standard Monday through Friday day shift.
- Reliable transportation to the office is required.
- This role is paid.
