About the role#
Regency Centers is seeking a Real Estate Intern for our Dallas office during the summer of 2027. This 8-week internship provides hands-on experience across leasing, property operations, construction, development, and investments. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, while shadowing experienced professionals and contributing to active projects.
What you'll do#
- Identify prospective tenants and assist with leasing inquiries, lead sourcing, and deal underwriting.
- Conduct market studies, comp reports, and tenant void analysis.
- Maintain contact databases and research CRM and deal-generating platforms.
- Participate in property visits, tenant showings, and merchandising plan development.
- Work with tenants and vendors while shadowing Property Managers during inspections.
- Support the investment team with due diligence, demographic studies, and site analysis for new acquisitions.
- Assist the construction team by researching building materials, visiting development sites, and monitoring construction progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior at an accredited 4-year college or university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Real Estate, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time in the Dallas office.
