About the role#
As a Thermal Engineering Intern at Reflect Orbital, you will take on responsibilities similar to our full-time engineers. Your work directly impacts the success of our flying constellation. We look for people who can solve problems without known solutions and who prefer hands-on work.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, analyze, manufacture, and test novel spacecraft components.
- Build complete tools and testing setups.
- Prototype and iterate on designs.
- Complete and ship your work.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Ability to create scrappy solutions while also building high-quality, complex systems when necessary.
- Capability to work independently and know when to seek help from others.
- Commitment to a minimum of 12 weeks on-site.
