About the role#
As an Avionics Engineering Intern at Reflect Orbital, you will take on responsibilities similar to our full-time staff. Your work contributes directly to our flying constellation. We look for individuals who want to solve hard problems and advance humanity. This position requires a minimum 12-week commitment in-person at our Hawthorne office.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and analyze novel spacecraft components.
- Manage the manufacturing and testing of these components.
- Build complete tools and testing setups.
- Prototype and iterate on designs rapidly.
- Focus on completing and shipping your work.
What you'll need#
- Experience building and shipping complex, high-quality solutions.
- Ability to work highly independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
- Comfort facing challenges that have no known solution.
- Willingness to be a hands-on individual contributor.
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
