About the role#
Join the Credit Modeling and Methodology team within Enterprise Risk and Group Risk Management. You will help develop, validate, and maintain credit risk models that support enterprise-wide decision-making and regulatory compliance. The team designs and implements credit risk frameworks, including AIRB and IFRS 9 models, while conducting quarterly performance reviews to ensure accuracy and alignment with risk appetite.
What you'll do#
- Support AIRB PD, LGD, and EAD validation remediation through data reconciliation, analysis, and documentation.
- Contribute to quarterly model monitoring and validation processes.
- Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Help advance modeling programs to meet business and regulatory needs.
- Work alongside a team of experienced credit risk professionals.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or machine learning.
- Programming skills in Python, SQL, or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect patterns and anomalies.
- Excellent writing skills to produce documentation for regulatory and audit needs.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.

- This is an on-site, full-time internship located in Toronto, Ontario.
- The term runs for 4 months, from January 2027 to April 2027.
