About the role#
As a Business Advisor Intern, you will join the Canadian branch network to support small business owners. You will focus on building relationships and providing service to clients throughout their business journey. This internship involves working with a team to meet client retention goals and service standards.
What you'll do#
- Manage a portfolio of small business accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with local centers of influence.
- Reach out to new and existing clients to provide advice that supports their business success.
- Collaborate with other advisors to create a client-centered environment.
- Provide service to clients to help them reach their goals.
What you'll need#
- Current studies in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Human Resources.
- A results-oriented approach.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and understand risk management policies.
- Knowledge of small business products, services, and market structures.
- Strong business development and communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
