About the role#
RBC Royal Trust offers students hands-on experience in estate administration. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help clients settle estates and protect legacies during important life transitions. This is a 4-month internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support Royal Trust groups with reporting and the control of key risk activities.
- Manage core office administration and provide daily support for Regional operations.
- Assist Officers with tasks such as coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and organizing client presentations.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure account information in internal systems is accurate.
- Provide proactive service by responding to client inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure proper execution of tasks.
- Investigate administrative errors and refer complex issues to Senior Officers.
- Contribute to specific projects under supervision and provide backup support for colleagues.
- Follow all company policies and processes.
What you'll need#
- Fluency in both English and French is required for this role.
- Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of organization and time management abilities.
- A professional, warm, and friendly demeanor.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- You must be returning to school after the work term or require this term as a mandatory graduation component.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or STEP Canada Estate and Trust courses is preferred.
