About the role#
This is a 4-month internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will join the Group Risk Management team to build AI-driven solutions that automate risk management workflows and improve data quality. You will work with the Associate Director in Strategic Delivery to reduce manual overhead and standardize internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop an AI agent to analyze external program requirements and assess their impact.
- Build automated tools to identify inconsistencies and anomalies in release configurations.
- Support the development and automation of risk analysis infrastructure.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and test new solutions.
- Document processes, tools, and best practices to support team knowledge transfer.
What you'll need#
- Working experience in data analysis or quantitative analytics.
- Broad knowledge of traded products across various asset classes.
- Strong analytical and independent problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent programming skills, specifically in Python or an equivalent language.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Enrollment in a relevant program such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The role supports remote, on-site, and hybrid work arrangements, to be discussed with the hiring manager.
- Candidates must be located within Ontario for the duration of the work term.
- Applicants must be returning to school after the work term or require this placement as a mandatory graduation component.
