About the role#
The Desjardins Group Security Office protects members and their data through work in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and information protection. As an intern, you will contribute to security projects, learn from experienced professionals, and build skills in a collaborative environment. This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support operational security and integrate controls into IT projects.
- Help implement security practices that meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Design dashboards and develop visual reports to support team reporting and efficiency.
- Conduct legal research on cybersecurity laws and regulations.
- Raise awareness of security standards and provide training to key stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- You must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program that credits or certifies this internship.
- Relevant work or internship experience.
- Proficiency in French.
- We welcome students from fields including Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Communications, and Criminal Justice.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Montréal and Lévis, Quebec.
- The position follows a hybrid work model.
