About the role#
As a Client Advisor Intern, you will act as an ambassador for RBC by providing support for everyday banking needs. This role focuses on client-centered service, helping individuals achieve their financial goals, and collaborating with internal partners to deliver a high-quality experience. You will work in a part-time capacity at 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients throughout the branch and the community to identify banking needs and provide advice.
- Respond to client-initiated contact and assist with a variety of financial transactions.
- Proactively resolve client banking problems and take ownership of issues to prevent future concerns.
- Educate clients on digital banking tools and demonstrate how to use various devices.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners to identify and refer business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- A demonstrated passion for putting clients first and experience in a target-driven sales environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the skills to build rapport with clients.
- Flexibility, a desire to learn, and strong personal ethics.
- Digital literacy across devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Ability to work all business hours.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred.
- Possession of Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Canadian Securities Course, is considered an asset.
