    About the role#

    As a Client Advisor Intern, you will work as an RBC Ambassador within our branches. You will focus on putting clients first, finding solutions for their needs, and deepening existing relationships. This role is a starting point for those interested in a career as an Account Manager or Banking Advisor.

    What you'll do#

    • Engage with clients in the branch to provide a high level of service.
    • Identify opportunities to offer advice, digital solutions, and partner introductions.
    • Use technology to educate clients and demonstrate our digital capabilities.
    • Contribute to team goals by listening to clients and spotting chances to offer additional support.
    • Manage risks by following all compliance routines, processes, and controls.
    • Resolve and prevent client banking problems.
    • Maintain relationships with internal partners to work as one team.

    What you'll need#

    • A goal-oriented mindset and a passion for prioritizing client needs.
    • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
    • Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
    • Flexibility to work varying hours.
    • The confidence to learn financial concepts.
    • A willingness to obtain the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
    • Currently pursuing studies in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
