About the role#
As a Client Advisor Intern, you will use your problem-solving skills to help clients with their everyday banking needs. You will act as an ambassador for the bank, helping clients achieve their goals by providing advice and support. This role involves working directly with clients to create positive experiences and collaborating with internal partners to identify new opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch and the community to uncover their banking needs.
- Provide education and demonstrations on digital banking tools to help clients manage their finances.
- Respond to client requests and assist with financial transactions.
- Listen to clients to understand their individual needs and resolve banking problems.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners to manage business referrals.
What you'll need#
- A strong focus on putting clients first.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships with people.
- Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Flexibility and a desire to learn.
- Availability to work all business hours.
- Preference for candidates with Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Communications, or Psychology.
